He completed the incredible challenge in 9 days and raised a staggering total of £11,006. Simon told the ECHO: "My daughter was in the same class as Megan, so this means a lot to us. The school were very good with the kids when the tragedy happened. Megan was a bright and caring young woman. Those who were privileged enough to know her remember a beautiful and loving girl with strong values and a love of family. She is deeply missed by all, and especially her parents Mike and Jo and her brother Brad."
