Sunday, December 3 marked the 13th annual Liverpool Santa Dash, which has become a firm favourite in the run-up to the festive season. The 2017 dash was open to runners, joggers and walkers and everyone has to take part in the Santa suit provided. As well as the main 5K Festive Fun Run, there is a 1K Mini Run for under 12s which takes place immediately afterwards.
Huge thanks & congratulations to Michael, Bradley, Darren Owens, Lucy Owens, Emma Owens, Rosie LeGood, Jonny O'Sullivan, Lynn Neal, Steve Neal, Molly Neal, Amy Clarke, Ben Ellis, Charlotte Harris, Anna Mason, Rebecca Murphy, Louis Cain, Sam Titterington & Mick Conor for all taking part in the 2017 Santa Dash, the first ever fundraising event for The Megan Hurley Foundation. The guys were all awarded with her own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. The Megan Hurley Foundation will aim to provide initial short-term help and support to self-employed families, unable to attend work (and therefore no income), due to the sudden and unexpected loss of a child. The Megan Hurley Foundation may also provide help and support to other good cause that will benefit children.The Trustees will agree eligibility for those requiring help and support.
