On Sunday, February 3rd we were lucky enough to be invited along to Mia McGuinness's charity masterclass in order to raise money for The Megan Hurley Foundation. The masterclass lasted a all morning & Mia demonstrated two stunning make-up looks as well as providing snacks & a raffle with a long list of AMAZING prizes, including a two-day makeup course at 'Oh Darlin' salon itself!
"Established in September 2018 by Kate Hayes & Cheryl Taylor, this salon/training academy has been designed with our gorgeous clients and students in mind. Both successful in their own right, these two like minded business women have come together to create the ultimate salon/training experience. Cheryl is a renowned Beauty Educator who has been in the industry since 1999. Working alongside some of the industries leading brands, Cheryl is a Lash Master and innovator. Kate, a well known Makeup Artist with a number of celebrity clients, has built her makeup empire from the ground upwards and has students travelling from across the UK to attend her Masterclasses." We had an amazing morning & can't thank Mia enough for organising the masterclass. Mia raised an amazing amount of money in raffle and ticket sales for our charity. Mia was awarded her very own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. The Megan Hurley Foundation will aim to provide initial short-term help and support to self-employed families, unable to attend work (and therefore no income), due to the sudden and unexpected loss of a child.
