Yesterday, Kieran Hindley, who was Megan's boyfriend, and his two brothers Michael and Steven all free fell 15,000ft from an airplane in aid of The Megan Hurley Foundation. The Hindley family all watched as the boys completed the incredible jump & Megan's parents Michael & Joanne, brother Bradley all went to support the boys falling at 120mph & all wearing The Megan Hurley Foundation T-shirt at Skydive Northwest. Skydive Northwest – also known as the North West Parachute Centre – is one of the longest established skydiving and parachuting centres in Europe. Skydive North West has introduced thousands of people from all over the world to the magical sport of skydiving and is considered to be the friendliest skydiving centre in the country.
Set in the beautiful Lake District amongst some of the finest scenery in England they boast excellent facilities for new and experienced skydivers. Kieran said: "This charity is very close to my heart as Megan was my girlfriend and to have the opportunity to raise money in honor of such an amazing person is incredible. Any and all donations will go a long way in helping the Foundation and any families that require the support." The boys raised an amazing amount of money for our charity & were awarded their own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. The Megan Hurley Foundation will aim to provide initial short-term help and support to self-employed families, unable to attend work (and therefore no income), due to the sudden and unexpected loss of a child. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to support the charity, keeping Megan's name alive.
