Volair & The Halewood Leisure centre held the most amazing Christmas event on Tuesday the 11th of December! All thanks to Jenny & her amazing team at Halewood Leisure centre. The fundraising day, all in aid of The Megan Hurley foundation ran from mid-day until 6:00 and Jenny & her team worked the 6 hours straight!
Fundraising activities included: Swimming, Triathlon, Table top sales, Cake sales, Tombola, DJ, Volair Spa Stall, Carol Singing, Raffles, Visit Santa in his Grotto, Festive craft stall, Adult day care performance, Slimming world plus products, NHS promotion table & lots more... Jenny and the team raised an amazing amount of money for the Megan Hurley foundation & we can't thank them enough for wanting to take part! The guys were awarded with her own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. The Megan Hurley Foundation will aim to provide initial short-term help and support to self-employed families, unable to attend work (and therefore no income), due to the sudden and unexpected loss of a child. The Megan Hurley Foundation may also provide help and support to other good cause that will benefit children.The Trustees will agree eligibility for those requiring help and support.
