This December, friend of the charity Georgia Williams organised a charity fundraiser at her place of work in the Clockwise Liverpool Office's - after putting together the idea it wasn't long before the team had accumulated an impressive set of prizes; including meals, hotel stays, fruit baskets & many more. After thanking all of the local businesses for supporting and donating gifts, the team sold an amazing amount of tickets - racking up an impressive £304 for the Megan Hurley Foundation.

Speke Operations Elanco / Eli Lilly and Company colleagues invited The Megan Hurley Foundation trustee's to be a part of their annual Small Donations presentation, back in 2019 where they awarded us with an amazing contribution from the Workplace Trust Fund. We were so grateful for the opportunity to be able to meet & hear stories of our local small charities as well as raising awareness of The Megan Hurley Foundation. It was also an honour for us to be able to meet with the United Way Donations Committee, the General Manager & the employee's of Eli Lilly.
This year they repeated their incredible donation. We were so pleasantly surprised to see that the Elanco team had contributed to us once more. We can't thank everybody involved for this enough & want to say a huge thank you for the continued support we receive from all at Elanco. During Winter 2020 Jayne Clarke & the staff at Goldylocks hairdressers in Halewood Village raffled a gorgeous, amazing hamper off from the shop to their regular customers. The staff raised an amazing amount of money for the foundation with this simple yet effective money raising technique! This is amazingly the THIRD time Jayne has done a hamper raffle and just one of the Clarke families many fundraisers. They raised an AMAZING amount of money from their loyal customers once again!
We can't thank the family enough for being regular supporters of the Megan Hurley Foundation. You will notice in the shop window the signature Megan Hurley Foundation collection bucket. These have been placed in multiple businesses in & around Halewood, making it easier for people to donate on the go, so be sure to keep your eyes pealed! You can find the boxes in places such as Goldylocks, Scrumptious, The Brunch Box, The Makeover Room, Bubble & many more companies that have chosen to support our charity. Staff were awarded their own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. An amazing, selfless, contribution to The Megan Hurley foundation. Mandy's family & friend's all showed their support & granted her birthday wishes by donating to her Facebook page raising an incredible amount of money for our charity & also demonstrating how easy yet effective fundraising really can be! Jonny O'Sullivan has ran an incredible 5K during every day in June in order to raise money for The Megan Hurley Foundation - Raising an amazing £620 in just one month, demonstrating an incredible way to raise money - even during the current pandemic. He documented each of his runs on his Fitbit app, sharing his stats each day with those following his fundraiser.
Our charity, like many, is founded on the kind gestures, generosity & good will of the Great British Public & we have all been, and continue to exercise these qualities during the trying times we face. There is no doubt that small charities are struggling with income due to the majority of fundraising events being cancelled, so this fundraiser is extra special to us & we hope it inspires many more. Well done Jonny! Jonny will be awarded his own 'Megan Hurley pin' for taking part in fundraising for our charity. Since our launch, Lyn Neal has taken it upon herself to host her own raffle each year in order to raise money for The Megan Hurley Foundation. This year Lyn was lucky to grab one of the Kevin the Carrot sold out collection from Aldi. Due to the hype and re-sale of the merchandise Lyn decided to raffle hers to raise money, and did just that! She raised a staggering amount for The Megan Hurley Foundation. Lyn also didn't purchase any Christmas cards this year & decided to donate all that she would have spent to our charity too! Lyn is a huge supporter of our charity & we can't thank her enough for the continued love and support!

The Base hair company has been the proud owner of a Megan Hurley Foundation collection box since we began & it is always filled with an amazing amount each and every time it's changed. However, Michelle, Rachel, Caitlin & Mark have blown us away this week by nominating the Megan Hurley Foundation to receive an award at the Passion4Hair Business Counts 2019. After Michelle spoke about our charity, we were lucky enough to be chosen for an incredible donation of £350, later taken to £500 by a John Freida client!
