Today, Megan Hurley Foundation co-founders, Michael and Joanne, Megan’s parents, proudly delivered 60 iPads to two of our local schools—Halewood C of E Primary School and St Marks Primary School. Each iPad is fully equipped with screen protectors, sturdy cases, and a dedicated charging station, all aimed at enhancing the students' learning experience and creating new opportunities for engagement in the classroom.
This initiative is deeply personal to us, as it is done in loving memory of our beautiful daughter, Megan Hurley. Through the generosity and support of our local community, we've been able to continue her legacy and make a meaningful difference in children's education. This donation would not have been possible without the incredible ongoing support we receive from so many. To everyone who has contributed—whether by donating, purchasing our Christmas cards, or hosting fundraising events—we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your involvement allows us to keep supporting our local schools and give back to the community in Megan's memory.

On June 25th 2022, over 50 men and women cycled from Manchester cathedral to Halewood Leisure Centre, in an incredible 32 mile bid to raise money for The Megan Hurley Foundation, and they did just that. The guys have already raised an incredible amount & we’re awaiting more! The cyclists commenced at 10:30am before arriving at Halewood at 3:00pm, with only TWO breaks. The atmosphere was electric as friends, family & local supporters rallied together to support eachother on the 32 mile stretch. They completed the ride in just over 4 hours!
Thank you to each of our riders as well as all of our friends & family who came to help out on the day, we couldn't have made this incredible event possible without you all! The bike ride was organised by the amazing Charlie Cooper! We can’t thank him enough for putting this amazing day together & for completing the ride himself! A special shoutout to Clifford Blundell for supplying the gorgeous and vibrant t-shirts worn by each rider! |
